When we are transitioning your kitty to a new food, there are more changes for both you and the kitty than just switching to a new bowl. We want to make this process as painless as possible.
- Transitional Time: 9 day gradual introduction to new food. Suitable for sensitive stomachs.
- Check the stool quality of your pet’s stool. If the stool is soft and sloppy looking, it’s best to remain on that phase for an additional 2 to 3 days.
- Because at Taffuzo, the proof is in the poop. I’ll be comparing the “new and improved” formula to the old one as best I can.

Made with one of the healthiest fish options available for your cat, Sardine is packed with nutritious oils and low in mercury. Not only is it great for cats with sensitive stomachs, but Sardine is also naturally easy to digest. As a long time favorite of our customers, Sardine is also great for skin problems, dandruff, dull coats and aching joints. Because your cat deserves it.
Nutrient breakdown
Sardines: Sardines yes they are a fatty fish - but for cats they are very healthy! Not only are they packed full of protein and healthy fat - they also contain omega-3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA), as well as vitamin B12, vitamin D, selenium, potassium, magnesium, iron and a small amount of taurine. We used sardines in this recipe, but we could easily do a second recipe with sardines too!
Chicken: Being full of essential amino acids and healthy fats, it is perfect for building, repairing muscle and tissues. In addition, general health, immune function, digestion, skin and coat are all supported. With a special blend of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium, it is perfect for maintaining healthy bones and joints.
Taurine: Taurine is an essential amino acid with essential functions for your cat, including functions requiring the amino acid in amounts that your cat's body cannot produce in adequate amounts. Therefore, your cat must have it in his or her diet. Taurine is essential for your cat. It is necessary for proper heart, eye, nervous, digestive, and liver function. All of these are functions that are supported in Bob's Fresh Cat Food.
Fish Oil: We use human edible fish oil for our Pet oils, you can eat it, so your pets should be treated no less than we treat ourselves to. Containing anti-inflammatory properties, omega-3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA) and many other nutrients essential for skin, joint, heart, kidney and brain health.
Flax Seeds: I was surprised to find out that flaxseeds have antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties! They are also a natural source of protein, fibre, fatty acids AND lignans! Such a little ingredient can do so much good.
Calcium: Calcium is needed for the normal growth and maintenance of bones and teeth. It is also required for blood coagulation, nerve function, muscle contraction and relaxation, and many other processes. We have added calcium to the recipe.

How to store and serve Taffuzo Sardine Fresh Cat Food
We have made storage simple so you can view your cute interaction of your cat eating treats in the best possible way.
Storage:
- Our food is packaged in retort pouches. Retort packs have a shelf life of up to 12 months from date of manufacturing for sealed packs. No added preservatives. Space age technology with genuine care.
- Packs should be stored in a cool, dry environment in their sealed packaging.
- No refrigeration needed for sealed packs.
- Once opened, keep packs chilled and consume within 48 hours.
Serving:
- Taffuzo's range of food products is ready-to-eat therefore no cooking is required and we have done all the hard work for you.
- Serve hot. Microwave from frozen for 60 seconds. Make sure food is microwaved on a safe plate.
- You can also add in things like boiled rice, quinoa, oats, eggs, lots of different veggies and even some bone broth to make it more of a filling smoothie.
- The recommended amount to serve an adult cat is 50g per meal per 4.4 lbs of body weight.

Our advanced retorting process cooks and sterilises the food before it is placed in a convenient pouch and sealed vacuum tight ready for your cat to enjoy. No refrigeration is required, and best of all the food is 100% preservative- and sugar-free.
Q: Can the cat food be stored once the pack is opened?
A: Once the pack has been opened the contents of your cat food can be stored in an airtight container and will keep safely for up to 3 days in the fridge or up to 6 months in the freezer.
Q: Are the meals suitable for kittens?
A: Is my child old enough? If your child is over 10 weeks of age & already on to solid food, your child is absolutely ready to have Taffuzo. We recommend starting off with a very small dose & gradually increasing the dose over the 9 days. We are more than happy to guide you in ensuring a smooth transition to the diet.
Q: How should I store Taffuzo cat food?
A: Sealed packs may be stored in a cool dry place for up to 1 year. Do not refrigerate.
